Grants from Matti Lehti fund for the year 2022 awarded

The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business

The Dean of the School of Business Timo Korkeamäki has made a decision on the grants from the Matti Lehti fund for the year 2022.

The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business. In addition to the return on the funds donated, the School of Business will this year co-fund part of the grants.

From the fund, grants are given to:

Assistant Professor Hadi Ghanbari for research expenses on research on ethical issues and concerns in digital innovation and development of a new course

Doctoral student Lina Siltala-Li for travelling expenses related to research on designing a data-driven decision-making framework (health care systems)

The total sum from the Matti Lehti fund is 4500€.

From School of Business co-funding, grants are given to:

Doctoral candidate Jiancai Liao for research expenses on research on metaverse addictions

Doctoral candidate Sahar Mir for conference travelling expenses (SCIS 2022) related to research on data monetization challenges

Doctoral candidate Joona Ruissalo for research expenses on research on interaction between human and AI in information work

The total sum from the School funding is 6500€.
