Aalto University's access control project will continue during this autumn, and access control zones in the buildings will take effect on the whole campus.
New access control zonesIn some of the campus' buildings the access control zones are already in use. During the autumn, the biggest change will be seen, for example, in the Undergraduate Centre (Otakaari 1), where the access token will be needed more.

In practice, hallway doors in Undergraduate Centre between public and common zones will be locked on Tuesday 16 November, and the access token (or the HSL card) is needed. Public zones can be accessed with an access token (e.g. on Undergraduate Centre you can access the building according to the opening hours and mainly move around the 1st floor).

Please check, that you have registered the HSL card or collect an access token from Candidate Centre or Väre lobby services after 8 November 2021 and register it.

Students have access to all spaces intended for students with the HSL card or the student access token.
