How can the Aalto Data Agents help you?

Data Agents provide training, consultations to research groups, and individual help through the researchdata@aalto.fi support address.

Data Agents extend Aalto University's data support services with discipline-specific expertise, and they can help with questions such as:

•    How is research data stored and shared with collaborators?
•    How is research data organised and documented?
•    How to choose a suitable data repository for data sharing?
•    How to choose a license for a dataset or code?

Data management is teamwork. Interested in developing your group’s daily routines? Contact researchdata@aalto.fi for customised presentations and consultations on the data management themes you need most.

Training

Training given by the Aalto Data Agents is currently ongoing. Remaining webinars this autumn include topics such as software work for research group leaders, responsible conduct of research, study pre-registration and registered reports, and an introduction to research data management in chemistry. See the webinars for autumn 2022. In 2011, Nokia Oyj launched its extensive Nokia Bridge Program that aimed to help experts start entrepreneurship and find employment after being laid off. Aalto Startup Center offered business accelerator services to the participants and coached them in innovation and commercial processes.
