Iivo Paukkeri appointed Aalto University Head of Investments

He is responsible for the management of the university's investment portfolio and he starts on 1 January 2020.

Iivo Paukkeri, M. Sc. (Econ.), is appointed Head of Investments at Aalto University. In his role, he is responsible for the management of the investment portfolio of the university, including the planning and execution of the investment strategy and management of the university’s investment team. He will report on the portfolio performance against the set goals to the Aalto University Board and work closely with the external advisory Investment Committee of the university.

Iivo Paukkeri’s earlier experience include portfolio and treasury management positions at Aalto University as well as corporate treasury at Metso Group. At Aalto University, his responsibilities have covered investment strategy, asset allocation and external manager selection among others.

Paukkeri will start in his new role on 1 January 2020 and he will report to Marianna Bom, chief financial officer of Aalto University.
