Join Aalto University at the 2021 European Researchers' Night on 24 September

The European Researchers' Night was created by the European Commission and takes place yearly, typically starting on the last Friday of the month of September. This event targets the general public, addressing and attracting people regardless of the level of their scientific background, with a special focus on families, pupils and students, and notably those who do not have easy access to, and thus are less inclined to engage in, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) or research activities.

Aalto University invites you to join the 2021 European Researchers' Night session "Unite! for sustainable energy"!

Date: 24 September
Time: 11-12.30 Finnish time (10-11.30 CET)

Unite! for sustainable energy will be held on the 24th of September, from 11am to 12.30pm Finnish time (10 to 11.30 CET). It will be a joint session including students and researchers from all of the Unite! partner universities - Aalto University,  Grenoble INP, Royal Institute of Technology KTH, TU Darmstadt, University of Lisbon, UPC Barcelona and Politecnico di Torino.

One of the political priorities of the European Commission is the European Green Deal for the European Union and its citizens, with an aim to tackle climate and environmental-related challenges.

For this year鈥檚 Researchers' Night, the Unite! alliance is organising a joint session with each of its partner universities aimed not only at upper secondary schools but also the general public. During our session the European Commission will present the "European Universities" initiative to students, and researchers from the alliance will discuss the frontiers of energy research.
