KY nominated Professor Katri Kauppi as Teacher of the Year 2024

Every Autumn Aalto University Business Students that are KY members can vote for the Teacher of the Year and tell why he or she should be awarded.

Professor Katri Kauppi receives the prestigious teaching award in 2024.

According to the voters, Katri Kauppi has a very deep knowledge of the subjects she teaches. She is passionate about sustainable development and has done an excellent job of making the topic familiar in her teaching. Her teaching methods work very well and the demands on students' learning and skills are appropriate. She always offers literature recommendations and tips students on topics of interest.

Katri Kauppi creates an atmosphere where students feel they can ask questions and give their opinions. Her overall presence on the SSC (Sustainable supply chains) course she teaches is excellent. She cares about the students and her ability to explain complex issues in a simpler way is appreciated. 

Katri Kauppi is excellently organised in her work, and she responds quickly to students' messages. She is a very inspiring and enthusiastic teacher!
