Mathematics teaching reform receives special show of appreciation from students
The standard was awarded as an acknowledgement of successful and effective cooperation. It was presented to the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis for an exceptionally successful Bachelor's degree programme reform. The guild wishes to promote the significance of teaching in the university community, and ensure in this way that teaching of a high standard receives the recognition it deserves. Head of the Department Juha Kinnunen accepted the Guild of Physics standard, and it was presented by chairman of the guild's board Juho Timonen and Master of Studies Toni Mäkelä.

Numerous teachers from the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis, as well as persons, who planned and designed the reform, were present at the event.
