Miguel Caro has been appointed as a fixed term Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science

PhD. Miguel Caro has been appointed to a four-year fixed-term Assistant Professor (2nd term.) position at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science as of 1 July 2025.
Miguel Caro

The professorship is in the field of Machine Learning in Materials Science.

Caro received his doctorate in 2013 from the Tyndall National Institute at University College of Cork, Ireland. After his defence, he has worked as a researcher and as Academy Research Fellow at Aalto University. Most recently, he has worked as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science at Aalto University.
