More than 70 undergraduate students received a scholarship

Ilkka Kontula, LL.M., M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Admin), who passed away in 2012, studied both at the Helsinki School of Economics (today Aalto University School of Business) and the University of Helsinki. With his bequest, he wanted to support students in their everyday lives. Thus, the Ilkka Kontula Foundation awards annual incentive scholarships to students of the School of Business and the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki.

Scholarships are awarded to students who have an excellent grade point average (GPA) and who have completed at least 80 credit units during their first three terms. Personal scholarships are worth 1000 euros.

Strong interest in Aalto University’s bachelor’s programmes continues

A total of 15,184 applicants applied ºÚÁÏÍø University’s Finnish- and Swedish-language bachelor’s programmes in technology, business and arts. The number of applicants continued to grow compared to last year.
