Open call for ELEC & SCI doctoral students: Study/research visit to Namibia with Erasmus+ Global Mobility project

Interested in a study visit to Namibia? Aalto ELEC offers 1-2 PhD students a chance to visit Namibia University of Science and Technology for a 2–3-month visit for studies / research.

The call is open to PhD students who are currently enrolled at Aalto University.
Exact timing and content of the visit can be discussed in more detail with interested students, but the mobility period should be completed by the end of April 2027. The minimum duration is 2 months and maximum 3 months. The host institution is in Windhoek, Namibia.

An Erasmus+ Global Mobility grant (consisting of a monthly allowance and travel grant) will be provided to the selected student(s). The grant is 700 eur/month + travel support to Namibia 1735 eur.

Starting Point of Wellbeing is organizing a two-time peer support workshop series for those who have progressed in their studies more slowly than they hoped, or are returning to their studies after a break. The workshop is multilingual, and we use English as the common language.
