Open University course registration for autumn 2026
The course offering for the autumn semester 2026 at Open University has now been mostly published. Registration for early autumn courses begins in 10th of August, while registration for late autumn courses opens on September 21st.
When registration opens, you will find the registration link as usual in the course description. Payment of the course fee and registration for the course will be done through the link.

Study voucher
The study voucher is intended for people under the age of 29 who have graduated from upper secondary education in Finland and applied to higher education in the joint application but have not received or accepted a study place at a higher education institution.
With the study voucher, you can complete up to 30 ECTS of courses taught in Finnish or Swedish at the Open University free of charge.
The voucher becomes available on Wednesday 5 August. You can check your eligibility and activate the voucher via the Opin.fi service.
