Open university courses for spring 2023 have been published!

Most of the open university courses for summer has been added to our course selection. Starting this summer, we are switching to new course registration system, Sisu.

You can now find our courses for summer using the course search. Registration period for courses starting in early summer starts on 4th of April or 14th of April. Registration period for the rest of the summer courses starts on 6th of June.

Course registration is done at Sisu starting from summer 2023

Course registration is done at Sisu. Link to registration page can be found in the course description when the registration period is open. Please follow the link to pay the course fee and register.
Please note that if the course you are interested in starts before May 2023, registration is done at the old system, Aimo.

Summer studies for degree students

If you are an attending degree student at Aalto University, it is possible for you to complete some Aalto University Open University summer courses for free of charge during summer 2023. There is a limited amount of free places for some of the Open University summer courses. You can find the number of places available at Sisu. Course registration to summer courses is done normally in Sisu.

If there are no free places available, you can register to the course as an open university student by paying the course fee. Please follow the instructions below to register.
