Otaranta closed to motor vehicle traffic from week 34 onwards

Motor vehicle through-traffic to Otaranta will be cut off for two months starting from week 34.

Because the western section of Otaranta will be closed, the bulk of passenger traffic will move to Luolamiehentie. Passengers are recommended to prepare for extended travel time on routes running through Otakaari and Luolamiehentie, especially during morning and afternoon peak times. Pedestrian and bicycle access will remain on Otaranta throughout the construction project, but routes will be rerouted on the roadside according to different stages of construction.

Work will primarily be carried out between 7 am and 6 pm on weekdays. We may perform some less noisy work in the evenings between 6 and 10 pm, at weekends and on mid-week holidays.
