Over three million euros to the School of Science
            
                    Eight researchers from the School of Science have been granted funding from the Academy of Finland.
            
          
              The Academy of Finland granted around 38 million Euros to research in the field of natural sciences and engineering, of which nearly 11 million Euros ºÚÁÏÍø. Of this around 3, 7 million were granted to School of Science.
All researchers got funding for four years.
Receivers of the fundings are Aristides Gionis (computer science), Mathias Groth (applied physics) Esko Kauppinen (applied physics) Arkady Krasheninnikov (applied physics, Kalle Kytölä (mathematics and systemanalysis), Olavi Nevanlinna (mathematics and system analysis), Janne Ruokolainen (applied phsycis) and Jukka Suomela (computer science).
