Event is taking place every year in Key Largo, the Florida setting of the classic John Huston film that starred Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Edward G. Robinson. The annual film festival was launched by the only son of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Also Film Editing student Eero Tammi with his fiction HANNES BLANK (2015) (written and directed by Eero Tammi) took part in the Humphrey Bogart Student Film Competition. The film was very well received and regarded.
About the film Pink Smoke:
The body of a young girl is found by a frozen bay. Three men, all accused of her murder, share their unique view of the story in an interrogation room. Three distinct subjective realities are displayed by the men, with time and place re-arranging and creating a different outcome.

About the director: Sevgi Eker studies film editing at the School of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Film, Television and Scenography. Before her studies at ELO Sevgi studied international politics and international relations at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul. Sevgi has also studied time and space art at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and is currently studying Middle East Studies at the University of Helsinki. Pink Smoke is her first film as a director.
