Presentation of professor: Sebastiaan van Dijken
Sebastiaan van Dijken is a Professor at the Department of Applied Physics and the leader of the Nanomagnetism and Spintronics research group.
van Dijken's research group is currently studying the behavior of very small magnetic materials. He is also currently teaching a freshman electromagnetism class and a master class in nanophysics.
– I am proud of the Nanomagnetism and Spintronics research group that I have established here at Aalto. It feels good that although I came from outside of the university and was the first foreign professor at the Department of Applied Physics I was able to start this research.
