Registration & Schedule

Are you confident with processing personal data safely?
Do you know how to write an effective data management plan?
Where and how should you store and share your data?

Understanding proper research data management is becoming more and more important to researchers and students across disciplines. Data management plans are increasingly required by funders, and researchers urgently need data management and open science skills to enhance the impact of their research. Safe ways of processing data are particularly important to those working with personal data or confidential data.

Aalto University Research Data Management Network organises a biannual webinar series on research data management and open science. Some webinars from the previous series will be held again, but we also have some exciting new topics, like:

  •  â€“ A discussion led by Senior Legal Counsel Maria Rehbinder and moderated by Staff Scientist Dr. Richard Darst.
  • ...and a two-day hands-on data anonymisation webinar by Staff Scientist Dr. Enrico Glerean.
(Registration information TBA, check back on our training page for updates.)

In addition, specific aspects of open science and research data management will be discussed, for instance, , , and .

We recommend everyone to attend our popular  webinar, which provides a foundation for the rest of the training. All webinars will be held in English using the Zoom platform.
