Resource-smart with a human touch
The project is geared towards developing human oriented operating models that can be utilized for the development of resources-smart products and services to build ecologically and socially sustainable residential areas.
To promote ecologically and socially sustainable construction, the project uses collaborative development methods to create a resource-smart collaborative construction operating model, which also considers communal and other social viewpoints. The Husulanmäki residential area at Lapinjärvi, Finland, is used as a pilot site for the project.
Resource-smart with a human touch is a joint project with Aalto University, Department of Architecture, Laurea University of Applied Sciences and the municipality of Lapinjärvi. The project is funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council.
