Robert's Coffee opens in Otaniemi

Brand new Robert鈥檚 Coffee鈥檚 coffee shop and ice cream factory is now open for customers in Aalto University鈥檚 Harald Herlin Learning Centre (the former library). Robert鈥檚 Coffee, a Finnish family-owned business, will bring a peaceful and comfortable lounge to Otaniemi鈥檚 rush, filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee.

鈥淲e want to offer Aalto University鈥檚 creative minds freshly roasted coffee, premium-quality tea and fresh ice cream, served with a relaxed attitude! Creativity happens over coffee,鈥 says Henrika Paulig, Robert鈥檚 Coffee鈥檚 creative director.

The learning centre premises have been modernized and adapted to the needs of customers and personnel, while respecting traditions. The Harald Herlin Learning Centre will be one of Otaniemi鈥檚 most central meeting places.

Robert鈥檚 Coffee is open for customers during service hours:

  • Mon - Thu at 9.00 - 20.00
  • Fri at 9.00 - 18.00
  • Sat at 10.00 - 15.00

Paula Nybergh, an Aalto University alumna with a Licentiate of Science (Technology) and an honorary Doctor of Science (Technology), has made a significant donation to support the innovation activities of the Bioinnovation Center. The goal of the donation is to support researchers in the postdoctoral phase so they can advance their inventions toward commercialization.
