The school of science has published its diversity and equality plan for 2020. You can download and read the plan here.

The School of Science carried out a diversity survey and series of discussions across its departments over summer and autumn 2019. The results highlighted some strengths, but also plenty of opportunities for improvement, and were discussed by both the school’s quality working group and the school’s management team.

Goals of our equality work

Our shared goal is to have a good atmosphere for study and work at the university. Aalto University wants to offer a working environment in which employees and students of different genders, tasks and backgrounds are treated equally. The obligation to promote equality and equal treatment applies to all members of the university community.

A concrete implementation plan has been drafted for the school based on Aalto University's equality plan 2019-2021. The school-level action plan is evaluated and expanded each year.
