Accomplished student designer, Sini-Pilvi Kiilunen from the Department of Design, was recognized for her talents at the annual Designer's Nest Award in Copenhagen. She received 2nd place with the judges noting: â€˜This collection is marked by a high level of craftsmanship. In a fashion industry dominated by sportswear, it is refreshing to see modern suiting and interpretation of embellishment with recycled elements. It’s best described as 19th century male attire meets Morrissey.’

The Designer's Nest Award was created to reward a particularly skilled and promising design-student with an accolade from the established world of fashion and design. The award show is organized by Revolver Cph Int.
