Students among the finalists in the Waxman Textile Prize 2017

Textile design graduates Aamu Salo, Tiina Paavilainen, Antonina Sedakova and Hanna-Kaisa Korolainen from the Aalto ARTS Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design Programme are among the 15 finalists in the International Waxman Textile Prize 2017 competition - .
This year the competition received more than 100 entries from all around the world. The 2017 Finalists have a chance to win US $5,000 - this prize is proudly supported by Mohawk Group, America's leading textile flooring company.The prize jury will take place on September 12 in New York, while the winner will be announced on stage at the Talking Textiles Conference on September 14.
