Dear student! To support the study ability and wellbeing of our students, Aalto offers online material and guidance during the summer. FSHS serves students throughout the summer.

On this page, we have collected information about services, materials and individuals that can help students with their study planning, study wellbeing and career reflections.

Starting Point of Wellbeing services during summer

Drop-in counselling is on summer break and will start again on 1 September. During the summer break, you can contact Starting Point of Wellbeing service providers directly. You can find contact information through the SPW home page.

FSHS will serve students in higher education institutions throughout the summer. The service offering is scaled to the estimated lower demand during the summer season.

Park exercise sessions in the metropolitan area in the summer

Free group exercise from June to August in , (site in Finnish).

Excursions organized in the capital region are compiled in the municipalities' joint nature excursion calendar (in Finnish).

Personal Impact course offering 2024-2025

Personal Impact brings to light already existing courses in Aalto University on values and meaningfulness, self-leadership, societal impact, human potential and well-being. Courses boost your skills of self-leadership, leadership and personal development. Check the list of courses.

Courses, workshops and self-study materials for students

Here you'll find information on our groups, workshops and online material for wellbeing, study skills and coping. The pages are administered by the Starting Point of Wellbeing. The groups and workshops are conducted in Finnish or English.

The Best Thing Today podcast series by Aalto University’s psychologists

The Best Thing Today is a podcast series hosted by the psychologists at Aalto University Learning Services. In the podcast, the psychologists casually talk about wellbeing topics – ranging from student wellbeing to the wellbeing of employees.
