The School of Business has joined Amcham Finland as a member
Amcham Finland (American Chamber of Commerce in Finland) is a non-profit, member-funded and politically independent business advocacy organisation that promotes the development of the business environment in Finland. The association serves as a link between Finnish and international business and offers its members access to a wide, global corporate network.
鈥楾he Amcham network offers its members 鈥 and now also the School of Business 鈥 a wonderful opportunity for international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and advocacy, both in Finland and on the global stage. We are very pleased to have been accepted into this prestigious network,鈥 says Jonna S枚derholm, Head of External Relations at the School of Business.
Amcham鈥檚 goal is to promote internationalisation, innovation, business development, and sustainable partnerships in Finland. The association provides its members with expertise on foreign direct investment practices, research data, and up-to-date information on topics such as U.S. market trends. In addition, the association promotes cross-sectoral influence, mutual innovation, and public-private sector cooperation, and actively participates in public discourse and advocacy.
Amcham is a multidisciplinary and international business community with around 200 members from more than 20 different sectors. The members represent 16 different nationalities, and around 2,000 people take part in Amcham鈥檚 events and activities each year.
