The Spring Forum for Higher Education Institutions’ International Issues
The theme of the forum is Internationality in transition. In his keynote speech at the opening ceremony, Aalto University professor Hannu Seristö examines the changes in the global operating environment of higher education institutions, characterizing them as turbulent. "Geopolitical tensions are already impacting universities. International academic cooperation is seen essential, but it is becoming more complex", Seristö states. "The solution is constant vigilance and sufficient strategic agility in the face of changes."
The programme of the Spring Forum is structured according to the sub-headings of the :
- Finland, a society guided by values and principles
- Finland, a competitive economy that attracts talent
- Finland, a responsible and receptive nation
- Finland, an agent in resolving sustainable development challenges
- Finland, a country that builds on cooperation
In addition ºÚÁÏÍø University and Finnish National Agency for Education, the Forum for International Policies / Ministry of Education and Culture has been involved in the planning of the event.
