Tiina Ritvala appointed Assistant Dean of the School of Business

The position will start on 1 January 2022, with a period of 1,5 years.

The Dean of the School of Business Timo Korkeamäki has appointed Professor Tiina Ritvala as the Assistant Dean of Teaching and Education for the School for the period of 1.1.2022–31.7.2023.

The Assistant Dean reports to the Associate Dean of Teaching and Education Tomas Falk and is a  member of both the Dean’s Leadership Team and the School’s Management Team. The Assistant Dean belongs to the University’s Learning Services Working Group and to the School’s Academic Committee. The Assistant Dean is also the chair of the School’s Teaching Competence Assessment Committee.

Tiina Ritvala’s field of professorship is International Business at the Department of Management Studies of the School of Business. Her current research and teaching focuses on sustainability in international business and business transformation through cross-sector partnerships between multinational corporations, nonprofits, and governments.
