UniPID Virtual Studies Course Catalogue

UniPID and its member universities offer a study module (formerly called "minor programme") in development studies titled Sustainability in Development for students who want to incorporate global challenges and sustainable development into their degree.

UniPID is a network of Finnish universities that supports interdisciplinary studies and research, as well as societal impact and partnerships of universities related to global sustainable development.

and its member universities offer a study module (formerly called "minor programme") in development studies titled Sustainability in Development for students who want to incorporate global challenges and sustainable development into their degree.

The module is comprised of at least five (5) courses worth 5 ECTS each for a minimum total of twenty-five (25) ECTS credits. Students are free to choose courses from the course catalogue to tailor an individualized study programme. Read more about the module .

Completing the study module requires registration. Before registration, the students should discuss with a university representative (planning officer, coordinator) to make sure that the module can be included in their degree and personal study plan (HOPS). Registration for the module is continuous and the programme is free of charge for all students enrolled at UniPID member universities.

Currently, two courses are open for registration: 

  • Globalisation and Corporate Responsibility – Registration: 01.01. - 25.02.2024
  • Good governance, the rule of law and religious freedom as approaches to sustainable development in the Global South – Registration: 1.1. - 28.2.2024
