Unite! Secures €7.2 Million in EU Funding

The next phase of the Unite! alliance will start in November 2026, bringing continued opportunities for Aalto students, faculty and staff.

Since 2019, Aalto University has been a member of the a network of nine leading technical universities across Europe. For Aalto students, researchers and staff, the partnership provides access to a trans-European campus, joint degree programmes, virtual courses, seed funding and collaborative research initiatives.

The European Commission has confirmed €7.2 million in funding for Unite!’s next two-year phase. Of the 36 applications received, Unite! is one of to mainstream and upscale their activities. The decision recognises the excellent progress made by the alliance over more than six years of collaboration and provides a foundation for continuing and developing its activities.

For Aalto students and staff, the next phase will bring continued opportunities to take part in international courses and programmes, staff training and research initiatives. Unite! will remain an important part of Aalto’s international activities.
