Webropol cleanup: surveys from 2015-2020 will be deleted

As part of GDPR-compliant cleanup, surveys that have not been edited or received responses since 2020 (applies to years 2015–2020) in Webropol will be deleted on 24 February 2025. Surveys that have been edited or received responses between 2021 and 2024 will not be deleted. Surveys can be restored for four weeks after their deletion on 24 February.

In addition, empty folders will be deleted and users who have not logged into Webropol since 2020 will be removed.

What will be deleted during the cleanup?

During the cleanup:

  • Surveys that have not been edited or received responses since 2020 will be deleted.
  • Empty folders will be deleted.
  • Users who have not logged into Webropol since 2020 will be removed, that is, those whose last login was between 2018 and 2020.

What should I do if I want to keep my survey?

If you want to keep your survey, you have the right to do so.

In Webropol, there is a folder named ‘DO NOT DELETE’ to which all new Webropol users have access. Move the surveys you do not want to be deleted into this folder.

What if my survey was deleted on 24 February 2025 and I wanted to keep it?

Surveys can be restored for four (4) weeks from 24 February onwards. Please contact IT Service Desk at servicedesk@aalto.fi.

What should I do if I want to keep my Webropol account?

If you want to keep your account, you can easily do so by logging into Webropol using the SSO link: .
