You can pick up your degree certificate on Wednesdays at 12–17.
Remember to bring your ID with you.

If you have graduated on or before 31 July 2025: Please collect your degree certificate by 8 October 2025. Aalto University will start issuing electronic degree certificates as of the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year. The electronic degree certificate will replace the traditional paper degree certificate for those graduating on or after 1 August 2025. You can authorize another person to collect the certificate for you. Please fill in a power of attorney and return it either by email, or bring a printed version when picking up the certificate. You can find the power of attorney in Finnish, Swedish, and English as attachments below.
- For a valid reason, you may also request for the certificate to be mailed to you as a registered letter. For this option, fill in a power of attorney and return it by email. NB! Certificates are only mailed outside the capital region of Finland (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen) and abroad.

Starting Point offers student services without appointments. The services Starting Point offers include certificate of attendance, official transcript of records and advice with annual enrolment.
School of Science has no student service point. If you need guidance and support with your studies, make an appointment in MyStudies with the planning officer or study coordinator of your programme. You can also contact us by email: studentservices@aalto.fi.
