Master鈥檚 Programme in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences (CCIS) merges all the ICT related education in Aalto University under 9 majors. Programme is jointly organized by the School of Science (SCI) and the School of Electrical Engineering (ELEC), and coordinated by the School of Science.

The programme majors are the following:

Changing your master鈥檚 programme in the School of Science

If you are a student of School of Science and want to change your master鈥檚 programme, first check whether you meet the criteria for starting studies in the programme. The criteria for transferring to the programme must be met in bachelor's degree.

Acoustics and Audio Technology, Master of Science (Technology)

The major in Acoustics and Audio Technology equips students with a fundamental understanding of human hearing, audio perception, and physics of sound. The skills they acquire enable, for example, reducing noise pollution, planning harmonic environments and designing coherent sound experiences.

Tuition fees 

Tuition fee for tuition-fee students in this programme:

  • Study right started on or before 1 August 2024: 15,000 EUR / academic year
  • Study right started on or after 1 August 2025: 17,000 EUR / academic year
