Education agents have local offices where they can assist you with things such as choosing universities and programmes, submitting applications, residence permits, language courses, test bookings, travel arrangements and so on.

How to apply ºÚÁÏÍø University

Please note:

  • You are free to choose whether you would like to use the services of an education agent or apply ºÚÁÏÍø University directly.
  • Your chances of getting admitted ºÚÁÏÍø University are the same if you apply directly, or if you use the help of an education agent. Applicants are ranked for each programme according to the admissions criteria.
  • You can only apply ºÚÁÏÍø University during the official application periods. Application periods are the same for students applying ºÚÁÏÍø University directly or through an education agent.
  • Applicants who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee in order to apply to higher education studies in Finland. If you are from outside the aforementioned area and you are applying to Bachelor's or Master's level studies in Finland, you will need to pay the application fee. The application fee is 100 euros. The application fee is collected by the Finnish National Agency for Education through the national online application portal Studyinfo. The application fee does not guarantee that you will be offered admission to studies. In addition to this national application fee, Aalto University does not charge any other application related fees. Find about more about the national application fee

Apply to master’s programmes

The application period to two-year master’s programmes at Aalto University is once a year.
The master's admissions application period for studies beginning in the autumn of 2026 runs from 1 December 2025 to 2 January 2026.

Code of Conduct for education agents by Finnish higher education institutions

Finnish higher education institutions have collectively developed an , an ethical guideline, aiming to establish minimum expected operating standards for education agents and other partners involved in international student recruitment. The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure responsible and professional conduct of education agents in all interactions with potential students, their parents, education providers, and other stakeholders. The Agent Code of Conduct has been approved by Unifi, the Rectors’ Conference of Finnish Universities.
