Information on practicalities for new international students, especially for those who are moving to Finland for the first time.
International Student Peer Advice (ISPA) is a seasonal service given by international student advisors to international degree students in Aalto University. In 2026, ISPA is available until the end of October.
The advisors themselves are international Aalto students and they offer their guidance and peer support with questions regarding:
All kinds of questions are welcomed, while ensuring that students have access to the right information and support services.
The ISPA service point is located in the Undergraduate centre, room Y199a (same room as student service point Starting Point).

On Zoom you can get international student advisors' help and advice with similar things as at the service point.
The Zoom sessions are conducted during office hours (8-17 Finnish local time) as per mutual availability. Book your session by emailing int-studentadvice@aalto.fi, and mention the topic you would like to discuss during the session.
