Implementation of revised degree regulations under way – entry into force on 1 August
On their entry into force, the revised degree regulations will supersede the different regulations on bachelor’s and master’s degrees that have existed at the school level. The Aalto University General Regulations on Teaching and Studying (OOS) and the Degree Regulations on Doctoral Education were also updated at the same time.

Sisu webinars for students and teachers are arranged to help the transition into the new system and to cover the upcoming changes. Webinars will be recorded to be watched afterwards. Doctoral students can now also make their personal study plan on Sisu.

Key problems regarding equality have been recognized - A pilot to promote solutions
As a result of Aalto participating in the Equal career paths (NOW!) project, Learning Services are piloting a service concept where students share their experiences on e.g. working in teams and teachers get to walk in the students' shoes. The expected outcome is that the participants become more aware of their unconscious biases, learn how their behavior affects other people, and ideate on how the experiences of the students in (gender) minority can be better acknowledged in teaching.Â
