6th National Doctoral Education Day on 24 November 2021

The sixth Finnish national doctoral education day is organised on 24 November 2021. Aalto University is delighted to bring you this one-day event with a focus on the international dimension of doctoral education in Otaniemi at 10:00-15.00. The event consists of one key-note lecture and three panel discussions ranging from the topics of sense of community in doctoral studies to international doctoral graduates in working life in Finland and pursuing a doctoral degree in Finland. All those with keen interest in developing doctoral education are warmly welcomed to join this one-day event in Otaniemi to discuss challenges and practices surrounding the international dimension of doctoral education.

This event will be organised in Otaniemi on 24 November 2021 at 10:00-15.00. It is possible to participate via Zoom. Please contact udes@aalto.fi to obtain the Zoom link.

The venue for the event is Otakaari 1 (Room A2). See the campus map for further details.

The easiest way is to use the X-door (behind the Otakaari 1 building) and then proceed straight through to the 2nd floor. When coming from metro, go through the Otakaari 1 building (ie. enter via the F-door, the former main entrance to TKK main building); walk through the building; when outside, turn left and then follow the building until the X-door on the 2nd floor.
