9 606 applicants ºÚÁÏÍø in the joint application process

The results of the joint applications to higher education have been published in the Studyinfo service.

The results of national joint applications to higher education institutions were published on 1 July 2016 in the Studyinfo service. Applicants can check their application status by logging into the My Studyinfo service at .

A total of 6 192 persons applied to study technology and architecture at Aalto during this spring's national joint applications, which came to an end at the beginning of April. A total of 3 668 people applied to the Bachelor's Programme in Business and Economics, and 846 people to the Bachelor's Programme in International Business. There were 2 109 applicants for the field of Arts and Design. The same person may have applied for admission in several different fields and degree programmes. There were a total of 9 606 individual applicants to all of Aalto University's degree programmes. Last year, the corresponding number was 9 893.

In 2016, a total of 1 540 student places were up for application in Aalto's bachelors' programmes.  The placing procedure in the nationwide Studyinfo service grants each applicant one study place. The placing procedure covers all joint applications to universities and universities of applied sciences, and it will end on 15 August. Therefore, the final number of accepted new students will only be determined once all study places have been accepted.

All students, who have applied through joint applications, will be informed of their acceptance in the My Studyinfo service and via an email sent by the National Board of Education. Aalto University's new students can find more information in the Into service at
