Apply to Unite! Summer School "What Computers and AI canꞌt do" by 31 March
The summer school takes place on June 17-21, 2024 at TU Darmstadt / Germany.
The Unite! Summer School, held at TU Darmstadt in Germany from June 17-21, 2024, delves into the theme "What Computers and AI can't do." Addressing errors, malfunctions, and limitations in the digital age, the interdisciplinary event highlights the societal implications of technology failures. Organized by scholars from multiple universities, including TU Darmstadt, Aarhus University, and KTH Stockholm, the program fosters dialogue among various disciplines. Participants engage in lectures, discussions, and presentations, aiming to deepen understanding of technology's boundaries.
We invite students and Ph.D. students of history, STS, philosophy, sociology, and neighboring humanities disciplines, as well as students and Ph.D. students of engineering science and computer science to participate.
