Nearly 300 new graduate students start at School of Science

Computer Science and Engineering was nationally the most popular subject among applicants.
Freshmen 2014 register.

298 new students were admitted to the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Science and Technology at the School of Science, 26 of which were admitted through separate application procedure. A total of 282 new students accepted a place.

The most popular subject in the joint application process of the science in technology programmes was Computer Science and Engineering with 437 primary applicants, 102 accepted their place. Once again, the most difficult programme to get in to was Industrial Engineering and Management due to a high level of required points. Bioinformation Technology, Engineering Physics and Mathematics were also very popular.

The admission results of master’s degree programmes were published earlier this spring, and about 150 new master’s degree students will start at the School of Science. In addition to new bachelor’s and master’s degree students, about 100 exchange students will begin their studies in September.
