PwC and the School of Business intensify their collaboration
PwC is one of the companies that has been a part of the School of Business鈥 partnership programme since it was founded in 2001. In the beginning, the collaboration was mainly based on recruitments, but it has since expanded to cover other areas as well.
The partners have now signed a Premium Partnership that will elevate their partnership to a whole new level involving other collaborative elements in both teaching and research.
鈥榃e are very excited for the emerging new possibilities as we deepen our long-term partnership. The goal of this ever-deepening collaboration is to further integrate PwC as a part of the everyday lives of Aalto University students and to also develop our business with the new and fresh perspectives of the students鈥, says CEO Mikko Nieminen.
Next autumn, PwC is actively participating in teaching, for example, by offering a wide-ranging business case for the CapStone course, which is a shared course for four Master鈥檚 Degree programmes. The annual Capital Markets Seminar for corporate financial managers, arranged jointly by the School of Business and PwC, is also coming again this September. In addition, PwC offers the employer鈥檚 perspective for the job search training offered for students. Also plans for a student project are being developed.
鈥楶wC has been an important partner for us for years now. It鈥檚 great our partnership reaches new dimensions and PwC becomes even more involved', says Jonna S枚derholm, Head of External Relations at the School of Business.
Through the partnership programme, companies get the chance to engage in long-term collaboration with the School of Business in many different areas. Possible forms of collaboration include developing the company employer brand, contributing to teaching, carrying out research cooperation, for instance in connection with student projects, or acting as a visiting lecturer. A total of 13 companies are currently involved in the programme.
