Want design delivered straight to your doorstep?
Aalto University will partner with food delivery service Wolt and Helsinki Design Week (HDW) for the first-ever 鈥淒esign Delivered鈥 programme, bringing student design work home to interested buyers.
With the 20 August opening of the Aalto University Shop in the new A Bloc shopping center at the Otaniemi campus, Aalto will offer a mix of branded goods, Aalto ARTS Books and student design work. Now some of that student work 鈥 which will include limited edition prints, ceramics, books and jewelry 鈥 can be delivered directly to your door by ultra hip food start-up Wolt as part of the yearly Helsinki Design Week festivities.
鈥淲e couldn鈥檛 think of a better way to launch our first-ever University store than together with our friends at Helsinki Design Week and Wolt. It is an innovative and playful idea, a great celebration of young Finnish design talent,鈥 says David Lewis, Aalto University鈥檚 manager of Marketing and Brand.
