Open access journals and books
Get to know open publication channels
Open access accelerates and broadens the dissemination of research results, leading to more readers, potential collaborators, and citations. Such publications achieve greater visibility than those restricted by subscriptions. By reaching a wider audience, your research is more likely to benefit society as a whole.

Instructions on self-archiving and prior licence model (Rights Retention Strategy, RRS)
Aalto University's prior licence model supports researchers' rights to their peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Open access fees are article processing charges (APC fees) set by publishers for making articles open access. With the help of the open access agreements, researchers can publish their articles open access without these fees or at discounted rates.
