Note: The information on the Dean's incentive scholarship on this page is intended only for students of the School of Science (majors DSC and HCID). At the School of Electrical Engineering (majors AUS and CNI) from the academic year 2024–2025 onwards the scholarhip will be allocated only for bachelor's degree students. 

Dean’s incentive scholarship (SCI)

Since academic year 2016–2017, the School of Science has awarded dean’s incentive scholarships of 500 euros for good academic progress. The scholarship is awarded upon application to students who meet the conditions below.

Please note that the criteria and amounts of the scholarship have been updated. The changes apply to studies in the academic year 2025–2026 and onwards.

The financial support information applies only to applicants applying to EIT Digital Master School programmes. Note also that EIT Digital Master School has its own scholarships and tuition fees, which are managed by the Master School Office. Normative duration of studies and applying for a study right extension

The normative duration of studies is three years for a bachelor's degree, and two years for a master’s degree. If you were admitted to a master’s degree, you have four years to complete the degree. If you were admitted to both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, you have a total of seven years to complete both degrees.

The duration of studies is counted from the time the you enrol as present (attending) at the university. Students have a right to certain absences that do not expend their duration of studies. Absence refers to time when the student has enrolled as non-attending.

If you have not completed your degree within this target schedule, but still want to complete it, you may apply for an extension to your right to study.
