Aalto University School of Business is actively integrating equality, diversity and inclusion into the everyday operations of the School. We are committed in supporting all D&I work to the best of our capabilities. For instance, starting 2021, the School is a member in the National Gender Studies Network Hilma. We believe that it is integral to raise awareness regarding D&I matters and continuously work to develop the competence levels of our staff, students, and partners. There is still a lot of work ahead of us and we recognize the need for adequate personnel resources in order to create widespread positive change among D&I matters.

School's EDI committee 

Aalto University Schools each have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) committee, led by the Development Manager or equivalent. The EDI committees prepare School Equality action plans and are responsible for implementation and follow-up of equality, diversity and inclusion matters at the School level. 

The School of Business EDI committee members can be found here. The predecessor of the School's EDI committee was an equality, diversity and inclusion committee called the MONTA group. MONTA stems from the Finnish words for monimuotoisuus (diversity) and tasa-arvo (equality).
