Apply for UniSport’s exercise counselling pilot
Have you been thinking about starting regular exercise but need some support to get started? In the exercise counselling pilot, UniSport offers free exercise counselling by a personal trainer to 20 people in spring 2025. The application period is from 10 December 2024 to 15 January 2025 – take the first step towards an active everyday life!

Supervisor or head of a unit – apply for the “Boost your resources through movement” lecture series pilot
In spring 2025, UniSport will pilot a lecture series aimed at work units, which will provide employees with information on the health effects of physical activity and maintaining motivation, among other things. The work units participating in the pilot will be drawn at random. The application period is 15–30 January 2025.
There’s nothing like a little shortness of breath to wake you up! Stair Days from 4 to 10 November 2024.
Our university will participate in the national Stair Days (Porraspäivät) held on 4–10 November 2024. While the core message of the Stair Days is emphasising the importance of simple everyday exercise, you can also use the stairs to get a quality workout. You also have until 10.11. to take part in UniSport’s stair challenge!

UniSport offers diverse break exercise services that make it easy to add exercise to everyday life. Use the ready-made exercise calendar to make breaks part of your day – with the calendar, it is easy to create a routine that suits you. You can also have your say on the development of break exercise services by responding to a survey.

In a video interview, Provost Kristiina Mäkelä describes how exercise affects her wellbeing and provides tips on how everyone can easily increase their activity during the workday.
