The pedestrian connection from the metro to Dipoli and the Amphitheater Square area will be improved during the autumn of 2021. The aim is to create comfortable, versatile, safe and accessible outdoor areas, respecting original design solutions and implementations. The construction sites will start already in August.

Designed by Alvar Aalto, the building previously known as Otaniemi’s old shopping centre, currently shopping centre A Blanc, was modernised to serve diverse business operations with respect to its historical value.

eParkly pilot begins on the A Grid parking area (A Grid B Otakaari 5, area code 541) on Monday 29th of March 2021. eParkly is a platform for providing a better parking experience to car drivers by real-time sensing of parking area utilization rates.
Interruption of district heating distribution in the following properties: Betonimiehenkuja 3 and 5
District heating will be suspended in Betonimiehenkuja 3 and 5 due to maintenance work. The interruption will occur on Thursday, March 25 starting at 8am until 4pm.

Excavation on Otaniementie to start 3rd March
The excavation work will take place on Otaniementie at the northern and southern sides of Otakaari junction from Wednesday 3rd March.
New users to renovated Aalto University Töölö
The renovated former main building of the School of Business, Aalto Töölö, has come to life with the commissioning of the building. Two new users have been secured in the office spaces of the upper floors.
