More than 400 young people start engineering studies in the new bachelor's majors of the School of Engineering
The total number of applicants to the bachelor's degree majors at the School of Engineering clearly increased from previous years. Female applicants were especially interested in the Sustainable Communities major, which focuses on changes in the built environment.

Multidisciplinary research project based on origami seeks solutions for industrial needs
A joint project covering the fields of mathematics, engineering and arts is about to start at Aalto, where the aim is to study and develop folding technology for the needs of industry.
