Whether you're a staff member or student, Aalto AI Assistant, our new AI tool, is here to support you in your daily activities.

Aalto AI Assistant is a chat-based application powered by the same language models as ChatGPT. Like all language models, it is a supportive tool that may occasionally make errors. You can use it for translations, refining text, generating content, brainstorming, and more. Quickly seek answers, gain research insights, improve your texts, and simplify administrative tasks to save time.

Introducing Document Chats 

You can now upload and interact with one or more PDF files.

a) The simple method to add PDF files 

  1. Begin by clicking on the 📎 attachment icon, then select the 'Choose File' button.
     
  2. Select a PDF file to upload. 
    Please ensure the document does not contain confidential or sensitive personal information, such as health records. 
     
  3. Start a discussion by asking questions or giving prompts, such as "Summarize this PDF..."
