Social media simple

The Social media simple component includes:

• a title for the overall component
• short texts for each social media channel
• external URLs to social media channels

You can add up to 4 social media channels. Any social media platforms of your choice can be added so there are no restrictions in that sense. Note that the icon displayed will appear automatically based on the URL, and the link text, unless edited separately.

This component is available in all content types, except Person profile, study option, LWL course, OpenUni course.

Social media banner

The social media banner gives a strong visual highlight while linking to social media. The visual look is the same as in the Highlight Quicklinks component. The background colour options follow the same logic as other coloured components.

You can add up to 5 social media channels. Any social media platforms of your choice can be added so there are no restrictions in that sense. Note that the link text will appear automatically based on the URL.
